OUR STORY
“…committed to serving the educational and professional developmental needs of the people of Barbados.”
DAYS Bookstore emerged on the local scene in 1988 with a mandate to provide educational books, mainly for primary and secondary schools. One of the original founders, the late Chairman Keith Austin, always viewed the company as being “committed to serving the educational and professional developmental needs of the people of Barbados.”
Thus, over the years DAYS Bookstore has moved towards providing some textbooks at tertiary level, autobiographies, Caribbean books, as well as law books for the student, and Inspirational books to lift the spirit and feed the soul.
We have a wide range of children’s readers and activity books, and an extensive range of stationery supplies and greeting cards. Today, the bookstore has evolved into the leading supplier of textbooks in the primary and secondary markets.
Breaking all molds of the traditional bookstore, DAYS Bookstore is well known for staging displays at business conferences, teachers’ seminars, and school book fairs and even within companies and government agencies. In other words, the bookstore is taken to the customer.
